PHILANTHROPY

How We Serve Our Community

National philanthropy

Alpha Chi Omega both nationally, and in Bowling Green is dedicated to spreading domestic violence awareness, as well as supporting individuals who have experienced domestic violence. AXO was the first American women's fraternity to bring awareness to domestic violence. Members of Alpha Chi continuously work to educate themselves and others on building healthy relationships. Alpha Chi Omega is partnered with Mary Kay, Allstate Foundation, Purple Purse, The One Love Foundation, RAINN, and Its On Us to raise awareness and funds.

Beta Phi- What We Do

The women of the Beta Phi chapter are proud to work with local domestic violence shelter and hot-line The Cocoon, Located in Bowling Green. Our chapter is able to work closely with the shelter to promote awareness and improve the lives of victims through philanthropic fundraisers and events.

Our Events

We strive to improve the lives of victims and reduce the number of individuals affected by domestic violence. To do so, we organize  events such as, "Alpha Chi Guy," "Cookie Dough With AXO," and "Donut Let Love Hurt." The funds raised by these events are donated to The Cocoon. During the fall semester of 2021, our "Alpha Chi Guy" Event raised over $2,400. Our chapter is proud to give back to our community and believes that helping others is essential to living out our motto of becoming Real. Strong. Women.
